 Governor's Message

Hello, I am Governor Jim Justice. I am excited to see that you are interested in this internship program as it is made up of the best and brightest students in West Virginia. Having state government and local businesses pair up to give high-achieving students a taste of the West Virginia workforce is of the utmost importance to me.

For more than thirty years, the Governor's Internship Program has been providing college students with the connections necessary to succeed as they learn and grow new skills. Our goal is to help you find a career that will keep you working in the state that we all call home.

It is my hope that if you are selected for the internship program that you take advantage of the experience. Now more than ever it is your time as students to ask questions, find answers, and build the career that you want for yourself. Working alongside professionals will help you do that as you acquire leadership and teambuilding skills necessary for becoming successful. I am proud that you are considering becoming a Governor's Intern and I look forward to seeing you positively impact West Virginia.
